Hot tapping, otherwise known as under-pressure drilling, is a way of installing a branch connection (under-pressure tee, UPT) to a live water main with no interruptions to supply and no need to cut-in a conventional tee.
USE LTD can supply, fit, pressure test and drill under pressure tees to all diameters of water main with a maximum outlet size of 24" (DN600).All of our fittings have full Reg 31 compliance for use on potable water, and can be manufactured to suit all common pipe materials.
